Re: [helpsinuses] desperate for help (kinda long)

Hi Amy I really don't have any suggestions but I can feel for you big time. My situation is very similar to yours with the surgery last year and all. I've had sinus and allergy problems since the age of 15 and I'am now 44. To add insult to injury I came down with IBS about 18yrs ago and spend quite a bit of time on the toilet. Boy life can't get any better oh I forgot to mention my detiorated disk in my back that makes my legs go numb. I lost two businesses and my wife a couple years back due to my health problems.
I keep trying to find the silver lining in the cloud but lately I've been waking up looking for reasons to go on.  I say to myself that I could be worse off like a friend of mine that has MS and then I pick myself up again and go on but it sure is hard accepting my health problems since I'am a type 'A' personnality and very hypper. Well I'll stop playing my violin now and thanks for listening. Anytime you want a shoulder to cry on I'am hear to listen.

I have had sinus infections for years. Generally they are predictable and I know what months I will get them. In August I got a sinus infection that has yet to go away. I have been on: Z-pack, Levequin, Avelox, Ceftin, there are more but I don't remember all of them at the moment. I have also tried adding apple cider vinegar to my neti pot and tried accupunture.

On April 28th I had surgery to fix my severely deviated septum and removed damaged tissue etc... Over all surgery went ok. I started feeling better. I was sure it had worked. Then on Thursday I got sick. I hoped it was just a bug but no it was another sinus infection.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Amy
