I had an acute sinus infection 32 days ago for which the ENT put me on 21 days
of
Augmentin 875 mg twice per day for. After about 5 days or so the infection seem
to clear as
was evidenced by my mucous no longer being brown, yellow, etc. It went to clear
or white.
However, for 32 days I have been in TERRIBLE TERRIBLE sinus pain, with horrid
pressure in all
the sinuses and pain, especially when I wake but all day long.
I have used, Tylenol, Motrin, even some left over Percoset my husband had from a
tooth
extraction for the pain, nothing really helps. I have been doing nasal washes
with NeilMed
and Alkalol, taking Bromelain which possibly helps with sinus swelling, using
Peaceful
Mountains SInus Rescue with collodial silver, just about everything one can do,
steam,
essential oils in steam, warm face compresses, NOTHING helps, the pain is
relentless, it is
like the infection went away, but not the swelling or pressure.

Does anybody have any thoughts as to what could be going on? I have NO allergies
at all,
have had allergy testing and am not allergic to anything, have a VERY clean
diet, no caffeine,
no soda, very little to no sugar etc.

HELP! I am loosing my mind and just want to die.
