I'm sorry to hear that you had such a difficult recovery time. I had only one sinus surgery and other than a sleepless night at the hospital (due to a lot of noise from an elderly patient) and the packing removal the following morning, I didn't have any other problems. Of course, I would've preferred to go out in public without a bandage on my nose. I was at a church outreach event and the pastor kept joking that my sister Lisa had beaten me up. LOL!! :o)
I'm battling another sinus infection at the moment, thanks to having a cold last week. Fortunately the amoxicillin has kicked in so I'm not as congested now ... :o)

What type of follow up care have you been getting? After my surgery, I
had to rinse my sinuses a couple of times a day with Neilmed (a saline
solution). I saw the doctor 2 or 3 times within the first 2 weeks.
Each time, he suctioned out a lot of blood. I had to sleep sitting up
for a long time. I slept with and wore an ice pack on and off all day.
It seems that unless you get the right care after the surgery, it's
all in vain.
