Sounds like you have a quack for an ENT. It must suck living in the U.S. when it comes to health care. In Canada we`re covered for free thru OHIP and we can go and see as many specialist as we want to although I think your just a number to most of them anyway. I`am starting to feel a little bit better as far as the sinuses go although my IBS is still kicking my ass. Anyway take care and I`ll say a prayer for you.
Later
Rick

Sorry I have not read my e-mail for a while.
The ENT specialist said there is nothing wrong with my sinuses, therefore nothing he could do.
I did have to cancel my health insurance due to increased cost and decreasing wages due to missed work.
Currently I am doing OK, up and down days, mostly down. I am trudging along.
Sorry I could not offer more hope.
Gail

Hi Gail
Boy it sounds like were in the same boat minus the oars. Can I ever relate to your suffering. I haven't worked in the last three months. I've had to refuse work because I just can't take pushing my body anymore not to mention all the dust that's related to my line of work. I went to see the crisis team at the hospital the other day. I told I'am physically and emitionally drained and that I'd like to try and go on a disability since I also have IBS and degenerative disk disease. I don't want to be on disability because I'am climbing the walls as it is but I can't keep a normal job schedule with all those problems. I'am really tired of this crap and basically have resided to the fact that I'am going to be alone the rest of my life because who would want to get involved with someone who is always sick and miserable. Where you live is the air quality good? Thanks for listening and keep in touch please. I can use all the support I can get from
someone who can relate.
Rick:)

Rick:
I just wanted to let you know you have company in your misery. I am really sorry to hear someone is having as much trouble as I am.
I have had 6 sinus surgeries since 1996 and I am miserable also. Sinus pain everyday, fatigue especially in eyes. My new thing this year is some days I just have not been able to wake up enough when my alarm goes off to get up and go to work. I can't even get up enough to call in to let them know I will not be in. I have jaw pain and my right jaw joint keeps popping out of place. Teeth pain also.
I have scheduled ANOTHER appointment with my ENT specialist after my latest CAT scan on my sinuses. I really don't think he will be able to do anything, but I have to keep trying!
I do not have a lot of discharge or sneezing, at this point it just feels like my sinus passages are swollen (this is all year everyday). This is actually the first year
since 1996 that I have not had a sinus infection in the spring, so I did get that out of my last surgery 2 years ago.
I have trouble doing everyday things and things I enjoy, like reading and just going out and hanging with the dogs. Forget housework or taking care of my car or visiting friends and family.
I am only working about 30 hours a week and that is a stretch... Everyday after work I nap for at least 2 hours a day. I also have to take medication to help me sleep at night. Go figure - I feel so tired but cannot sleep.
It is killing me financially.
I will definately let you know if I get anything from my ENT specialist appointment.
