Re: [helpsinuses] Hi Everyone

The IBS wasn't helped with the surgery but I started eating better and taking probiotics thinking that enzymes had been damaged due to all the antibiotics I've taken over the years. I still have a mild constant stomach pain all the time but it's a lot better than before. I was living with a girl who's brother was a surgeon therefore he put it thru some how as non-elective surgery. I didn't ask any questions. The doctor says that it's going to take sometime to feel better because he stirred things up with the operation. I personnally don't believe him since I'am still spitting up green  and my head and teeth are worse than when I first got the infection 5mths ago. Like you said at least I'am lucky to able to sleep but I haven't worked for the last three months because my business was home renovations which is very physically demanding. I think I'am going to have to get out of that. It's hard though working for someone else when you feel dizzy and sore all the time. Have you tried sleeping on a wedge pillow. It would keep your head proped up more. I've never herd of the sinus only being affected when lying down. You must be running on fumes all the time. I guess we all have our crosses to bare. What does the Doctor have to say about it? Thanks for the reply it helps to talk to others with similar problems.

Rick:)

Bless your heart!  I do hope the IBS was helped.  How long has it been since your sinus surgery?
When I lay down, after I am asleep, that's when my sinuses start to hurt & the pain wakes me up.  Sleeping pills?  not for me, but I take night time tylenol which helps that is if I don't forget to take the tylenol.  If you can sleep, you are truly blessed.  What I wouldn't give for a good night's sleep.  Did you not have insurance to cover your IBS surgery?  Or was it that you couldn't work for a long time thusly, your business went downhill?  Sometimes in the summer months, our group doesn't correspond as much as in the winter but hopefully, somebody else will "weigh" in.......... ..welcome to our group & do take care....oh, what does the doc say about your teeth & head being sore?  I've had 4 sinus surgeries & none of mine hurt afterwards.  What helps me is I have a full upper denture so no roots to interfere with the sinuses..... .

Well to put it all in a nut shell I lost two relationships, two
businesses and declared bankruptcy about 3yrs ago after my exploratory
bowel surgery for my IBS. I finally had sinus and septum corrective
surgery. My allergies have acted up big time and my teeth/head are sore
as hell. I have no life as it is and I'am in bed by 9:00 most nights
because of the pain. Anybody have a gun I can borrow. |0||0| My last
hopes were in this surgery and I don't think it helped. I really need a
support group because I'am feeling very much alone and desperate.

Thanks For Listening

Rick
