Can you explain a bit more what a turbinectomty is? I assume its making the turbinates smaller? does that help allergies too or specificly sinus problems, or what? and what exactly is empty nose syndrome?

Subject: Re: [helpsinuses] turbinectomy --- turbinate reduction
Hi there, my goodness, I never heard of this procedure before (coblation)
I looked it up on the internet & mostly what I found is for tonsils &
for snoring but there was some mention of upper respiratory problems
so broadly speaking, it is possible? How about it group members,
anyone had any experience with this? This is laser guided stuff,
like cauterizing.
