I too was curious about my own recent eyebrow pain, so I keyed in those 2
words on the internet & was not surprised to find out it indicated
sinus pain rather than any other type of pain. You see, I knew
there was no sinus, other than perhaps the frontal sinuses that was in
the region but couldn't really suspect it was sinus until I saw the
cooberation on the internet. Ethmoids are in the bridge of your
nose. Maxillary's are below your eyes, the sphenoids are behind
your eyes. Yes, indeedy, lightening bolt type pain & my vision is
also affected but sinus trouble is impossible to prove because I have
macular degeneration & that causes double vision. Oh, &
guess what? sinus sufferers have trouble sleeping, at least I do,
which contributes to eye vision problems. a plethora of problems,
the sum total of which leads to depression. You should have an
opthomologist throughly examine your eyes. Then get a good ENT, (if
there's any out there). Unfortunately, I'm already been in &
out of most ENT's offices in my region.

could this be a sinus issue
been on 4 weeks of anti-biotics,
started back in January of this year with an awful pain in the bend of
my eyebrow, my eyelid swelled and went dark brown and underneath the
eye also.
Feels like the tissues of my eye towards my nose are swollen.
I now have something in my cheek, just under the eye that hurts when I
touch it, like a lightening bolt type pain. Hard to explain.
the worse symptom is the vison.
since all this started my vision in that eye has decreased, everything
up close is a blurr and dimmer, like its cloudy. Hard to explain.
It feels as if the eye is going towards the corner of my nose!
Drs have asked if I see double but thats a had question to answer as my
other eye is so called lazy.
The only thing I@ve been given is ethryomicin.
Can anyone help as I'm going out of my mind that I may be going
blind!
