Melanie,
Go to www.sinucare.com
There you will find some good information to help
you in your journey to good health. Click on the link
"find a sinus specialist". Once you get to your
appointment, tell the ENT how long you have been sick.
TELL ENT that you are there to get a sinus culture
and a Cat Scan. If ENT wants to try a bunch of
RUSSIAN ROULLETTE pill therapy, reemphasize the reason
you are there, and that is what you have got to have.
You must know what is wrong before you take any more pills!
If your culture comes up positive for a bacteria, you will
certainly most likely require IV antibiotics to clear an
infection you have had for so long (deep tissue infection).
They offer them to you in a convenient "Fanny Pack".
You won't even have to miss work.
Do not talk about your other ENT's in a bad light. Just say
that noone has found out what is wrong yet, and you liked
what you read about them online.
