Any claims for illness, personal injury or environmental hazards came
through our law department at Exxon Corp. in Irving. Workers and
inspectors were issued protective gear -- wet suits, rubber gloves and
boots, masks or face covers and helmets when necessary.

I never saw a claim at all for injury due to Valdez. And I worked there
from 1995 through 1997.
