Dear Asa Hutchinson,
You have expressed genuine interest in learning what caused the harm to our first gulf war vets.
I have been looking into the harm of 2-butoxyethanol, and have found it is a chemical exposure in common with the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers and the gulf war vets.  They look the same.  I believe that I have not only stumbled onto the cause of 'gulf war syndrome', but the cause  of Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome,  & the cause of many autoimmune syndromes, cancers and birth defects

It also has affected many people since the 1930's and especially during war time:

All groups will have these symptoms .... or restated ..

The fatigue is the provable harm,

and right now doctors say they do not know what the fatigue of CFIDS is

  • We could prove that the people of Valdez also were harmed, second hand

  • If we had a true picture of what has happened to those who lived here in 1989

Right now something else, benzene, is getting the blame

& other cities & states get our people's epidemiology info when they retire & die elsewhere

Much of what is called 'the FLU' is this chemical's poisoning

I am concerned for VP Cheney (shortness of breath ); John Ashcroft; Hillary Clinton

Sincerely,   Margaret Diann

& other prominent people (I recognize the pattern)

We're trying to find the 'blood damage'  Why FatigueTrack 'retic' rate

  • Chills  8

  • Fatigue

  • Pale color

  • Shortness of breath

  • Rapid heart rate  *   *

  • Yellow skin color (jaundice)

  • Dark urine (indicative of blood in urine - never dismiss this! Stop exposure immediately!)

  • Red blood cells that are small-sized, fragility of membranes, etc

  • Enlarged spleen   *

These are symptoms of hemolytic anemia - what this chemical is said to cause.  From time to time you should see these signs (not all of them all of the time)

(AUTOIMMUNE?)

Loose your temper easily? Central Nervous System * damage

(partial list of clues for this):

  • Short term memory loss

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Personality changes to 'grumpy' - Extreme Irritability

  • Difficulty sleeping at night - Sleep apnea? Narcolepsy in the extreme

  • All-the-time depression

  • Suicidal Tendencies

  • Mimics true psychiatric disorder

May affect multiple other body systems & organs

Hormones out of range - High or Low - Especially the Pituitary

Horrible Headaches - Maybe pituitary headaches - something related to hormones

How they FEEL

EPA - CA Janitorial Study -  Glycol alkyl ethers are commonly used as solvents. 2-Butoxy Ethanol is one of the most toxic of the glycol ethers.

You should use products containing butoxyethanol with extreme care. It is a poison

Story of Nancy's Persian cat

She just shared, "Writing to inform you that on 12-21-05 my Persian cat had to be put to sleep. Kidneys and liver were gone also difficulty breathing his poor little body filled with fluid. Please do not use Spot Shot Rug Cleaner or any other cleaners containing this deadly poison. God Bless all and have a healthy holiday. Owner of the late Persian, 'Gizmo.' My heart is broken , he was only 8 years old." Nancy

You hear about the troops who have 'pneumonia?' I suspect it is too much of 2-butoxyethanol or a stronger version of it ... plus, possibly, ethylene oxide, which causes pulmonary edema.

Don't know whether or not you have some of these cleaning products: but Simple Green is 6% of 2-butoxyethanol (half strength of the bioremediation experiment of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup: Inipol EAP 22; French patent for inipol purchased by Exxon & 22 more chemicals added) Anyway it is not safe for home use at this strength ... and Dow chemical says it is non-toxic (based on a test diluting it 30 times - who does that?)

Melaleuca Tub 'n Tile must have something not so good in it because they refuse to give the housewife a copy of an MSDS sheet. (In USA unless you are an employer with 2 employees it is not the requirement by law to do so)
