Autism is riddled with autoimmune problems (allergies, gut problems,
and most of all, the parents of autistic children have a much higher
than normal incidence of autoimmune problems like rheumatiod arthritis
and MS.
Helmith treatment has a big potential to treat these kids.
The Autism Research Institute in San Diego has a lot of info on the
autoimmune aspects of autism.
The hookworm, combined with other treatments, has the potential to
help- I would think that the risk would be minimal. It is a natural
treatment in my opinion- one that people have always lived with and
been healthy with in low doses.
