Hello Suzanne, I am sorry to hear all about your problems. I have a
number of heart problems. First of all, I must tell you that this is
not my regular email inbox. I just had to look at it today but at
least you only posted a few days ago. If you just want to chat from
time to time I will come back reguarly. I take Warfarin every day
(same as Coumadin) but lately the lady at the hospital who has been
checking it for seven years now keeps phoning to say it is either too
high or too low. I should be within 3-4 because I have a prosthetic
heart valve. When it is nice and steady I only have to go there every
4-5 weeks but now its every 2-3 which is a drag. I am not familiar
with some of your problems except syncope and AF. Right now I feel I
am deteriorating quite quickly and can't walk very far. I am hoping
they will come up with something new for someone like me very soon.
There is a famous hospital in London and they have succeeded in
growing a tissue heart valve. So, there might be something to help us
too.
