Hi jackie, WOW! a heart rate of 68/72.... my resting is always in the
100's it drops when i am asleep to around 89 so i am told with the 24
hour tape..... i have read about the AVRNT ... my cardio has not said
anything to me other than my fault is in the sinus node itself and
fast, and is rare .... they also write svt on the paperwork when iv
been taken into hospital, this is usually when it wont relent the heart
just keeps on going and going relentlesly at about 170 and it will come
down a little and then climb back up for a long long time i have been
kept in with it on occations ...... i have seen some weird looking ecgs
that i have had done but they must be quite normal or they would say
........

The ongoing diagnosed for me is "inappropriate sinus tachycardia"
unless i have an ep study to say otherwise..... it's no fun but the
ectopics arnt' either especially when you get a really big thump in your
chest i had loads of them when i had the tape on but they never said
there was anything wrong so they must have been ok .... my husband
never gets anything like this or my son and so is it a female thing
again "hormones" i suppose the cardio's would know there must be some
statistics somewhere ......i think the main thing is not to worry to
much about it, and trust what they tell us, i do........also it is good
to know that you are not the only one with them, it is something i feel
i needed support with ......

Do you get palpitations?? ( i know that means a fast heart rate ) but
what i mean is when you can hear it loud in your ears and chest .....
