This is the discussion group for the Columbus, Ohio, chapter of Sleepwalkers International, the original international hypnosis and self-help study and practice group. We meet once a month to learn and practice techniques of hypnotism and related arts (NLP, EFT, Silva Method, etc.). Our group is free and open to all, regardless of experience. Meeting information -- including times, places and topics -- will be posted to this list.
About the group's name: "Somnambulism" is the medical term for sleep-walking. It is also the name of the level of trance in which profound changework can be done. The founders of this group were professional hypnotists, to whom this pun was obivous. Now that the group is open to all, the name requires some explanation. We are not a support group for people who walk in their sleep.

Topic: Flipping the Mental Switch: Collapsing Anchors
Before you can start doing what you want to do, sometimes you need to stop doing what you don't want to do. If you want to start being positive, you need to stop being negative. If you want to start thinking like a leader, you need to stop thinking like a follower. The NLP technique of collapsing anchors is a powerful too to make this happen, and you'll discover how it's done (and do it!) at this meeting.
