A spokesperson for London Nutritionists Foods For Life has dismissed
The recent health scares about infertility and IVF treatment as a
moneymaking smokescreen by fertility `experts'.
He says "there's no doubt the UK health service have a poor record on
assisted pregnancy but the real tragedy is that very many cases of
infertility can be helped simply by better health and nutrition."

http://nutrition-news.blogspot.com/2005/06/all-you-can-eat-low-gi-diet-
beats-low.html
Study in USA of 2 dozen people shows that even on unrestricted intake
GI can potentially beat a traditional low fat low calorie diet.
Low-fat dieters cut their daily intake by 250 to 500 calories, limited
fat to less than 30 percent of their total calories, and got between 55
and 60 percent of calories from carbohydrates.
Ludwig noted that even though low-glycemic index dieters had no calorie
limits, they likely didn't overeat because they felt less hunger after
eating foods that take longer to digest.

Dr. Mercola's Comment:
It is amazing that, despite the growing amount of evidence available
on the toxicity of mercury, some people are still trying to convince
the public that thimerosal is safe. This recent study provides yet
another example of why you need to be especially cautious when
reading mainstream media reports on the effects of pharmaceuticals on
our health.
I strongly recommend that you seriously review the information
available on the toxicity of mercury before making the important
decision on whether to vaccinate your child. An essential resource
for new parents and anyone interested in protecting their health and
the health of their loved ones is Vaccines: What CDC Documents and
Science Reveal, a two-hour video by world-renowned vaccine expert Dr.
Sherri Tenpenny.
Mercury is a dose-dependent toxin, meaning the amount of it you are
exposed to is a crucial factor in determining your effects from it.
The amount that a child can receive from the administration of one or
more thimerosal-containing vaccines can certainly end up being the
proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back."
Even without vaccines, the massive amounts of mercury released into
our environment are still a major resource of exposure to this toxin.
Mercury, from places like chlorine factories, ends up contaminating
oceans and lakes and, in turn, builds up in the tissues of animals,
such as seafood products and people.
In fact, mercury is so ubiquitous in our environment, studies show
that one in every six babies, which is more than 600,000 a year, is
already born to a mother with a mercury level over what is regarded
safe for a fetus. Why on earth would you want to increase this?
http://nutrition-news.blogspot.com/2005/02/carrots-cancer-cure.html
It has emerged that scientists at the University of Newcastle upon
Tyne and the Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences believe from
studies that a chemical found in carrots, falcarinol, may reduce the
risk of cancer. Scientists tested food supplements containing the
chemical on rats with pre-cancerous tumours, discovering that it
reduced the development of tumours by a third. The chemical is also
present in other carrot-related vegetables, as well as ginseng.
Have you discovered this new award winning vegan cheese ?
It really is heaven on toast - It's hard to believe it's not butter
or cheese - it melts just like the real thing,it bubbles under the
grill, it even smells like it.
The taste is superb - try it on pizza.
