Just reading "The Nature of Personal Reality" by Jane Roberts.
It says "To change your body you change your beliefs, even in the face of physical data or evidence that conflicts."
"You constantly give yourself suggestions about your body, your health or ill health".
Hence it implies when you are sick, it is your belief that creates that sickness, and if you change that belief system, you get well.
Interestingly in my numerous applications of Energy Psychology, I often come across clients (patients) having a very firm belief system about their sickness, e.g.
"My sickness, or disease, is cased by virus, as my doctor explained to me"
"My poor condition is due to imbalance of hormones in my body."
In conversation-coaching during the Energy Psychology application process ... my coaching questions ...
"How is the degree of belief you have on the above statement, in a scale of 0 to 10, 10 is fullest conviction?" and "What options you have now?"
The answer often is "100% or 10 out of 10" and "nothing much I can do about it, except taking the medicine, which I am aware of its harmful side-effect, take more care of my diet and lifestyle, but I have to live with it for the rest of my life."
Such belief system certainly reinforces and continue to create the sick body.
In Energy Psychology, we try to soften that belief system and allow more choices to the client (patient).
There is a new update to "Energy Psychology Training" ( http://www.360q.com/Heal/EP.htm )
i.e. with Q&A at http://www.360q.com/Heal/Q&A_EP.htm
Cheers
