Yes, I agree with you on this. If you are positive, your perspective will be positive or vice versa. E..g the recent petrol hike, one can look at it as negative, costs are going up. But another person can look at it as time to protect the environment, save on food, luxury lifestyles, healthier living (healthier home cook food) and may be 'exercising the mind' more to maximize resources...
Just a thought.

Subject: [healsys] Law of Attraction and Emotional Healing
"The Law of Attraction" as made popular by "The Secret" is a powerful
concept and to many, it is a new discovery - a discovery to point out with
useful explanation of behavior and situation.
The underlying principle is that - like attracts like and vice versa
or positive attracts positive
and negative attracts negative
It is a useful and powerful concept when one uses the principle as a
reflective tool for self-examination for self improvement or to model
after another successful person.
Hence if a person is successful and happy, there must be some good virtues
and attributes of that person to attract more good things and blessing in
his or her life.
If I am not too successful or having pattern of problems, there must be
something in me that I need to improve and make good at so that I begin to
attract more goodness in life.
However, there maybe a danger on the later usage - at that may backfire.
For example, the principle can be used in a counter-productive way when
there are a series of negative events or phenomena, and one begins to self
indulge in guilt, worries, inferiority complex, little self worthiness,
lowering of self-confidence ....
or taking too much upon one's own shoulder, say "100% my own fault" over a
failed or difficult relationship, say, with someone, as it is generally
agreed that it takes two to tango.
Self generated negative emotion, using the above strategy does not help in
emotional healing.
Now the challenge is how to make the distinction between Self-Improvement
and Self-sabotage!
What is your view and experience on this?
