Hello all,

I have a question for a friend of mine who's going through a rough time in
the hospital. The doctors think she has a Kidney stone, she has pain in the
lower left region of her abdomen, but she's running a high fever constantly.
This has been going on about 4 days, she's 30 years old and the doctors have
already checked for Diverticulitis, PID (pelvic inflammatory disease),
appendicitis, tumors and run a ct scan on her colon to see if there were
problems they could see, the results were negative on every one, except one,
that is they're going to run a different type of x-ray to see if there's a
stone hidden in her ureter.

Anyway, the reason I posted this info, wasn't because I'm asking anyone to
diagnose her, but to see if anyone, anyone has a story similar to this where
the doctors did in fact find something and could relate that information to
me in hopes that the doctors will eventually find something and fix it.

I would appreciate any comments that might lead to another option for the
doctors to look for.
