Facial Exercises.
1. Take the side of your index finger and hold your chin down
hard while you
pull your chin up hard at the same time.
2. Douglas Fairbanks Sr. said to try to touch your tongue to your
ear this
is great for your neck muscles.
3. That old one where you stick your tongue out at people is
good. You can
feel it draw your neck muscles.
4. You can go, "POP," popping your mouth wide open while raising your
eyebrows high.
5. I turn my neck up to the right like a man shaving and go,
"Mom, Mom.
Mom".
6. One that is hard to describe but it takes bags away from over
your eyes
(not under) and prevents those cracks above your lips. Lean your head
back;
look down your nose with your eyes almost shut. Pull your lips way
down over
your teeth, smoothing out any wrinkles on your upper lip and swing
your head
from side to side. This is supposed to be like Yoga, My Lion.
7. This one is from Jack La Lane: Twist your cheeks as far as you
can to the
right and to the left. A friend of mine did this and I asked her what kind
of new makeup she was using. That's how I got started.
8. I am eighty-one and have done this since age thirty-five. I
wet my face
first so as not to pull the skin. It takes me less than a minute to do
these
once or twice a day. If you are young, after losing weight, your skin will
regain some of its elasticity. My mother was elderly and her legs hung in
folds after losing weight, and they smoothed out eventually. There is hope
for us all. LOve. MArge.
