I get what you mean about GFCF not being enought. Mickie has been GFCF
since he was five and it wasn't enough. I wish I had known about the
SCD diet five years ago. It has made a bid difference in Mickie. Try
everything you can, because for some kids it takes every therapy known.
I have been doing oral chelation with DMSA and Ala, off and on since
he was four and since he has impaired methylation the metals just go
right up again. So what I'm doing right now is working on fixing the
methylation impairment so that his body wont ignore the metals anymore.
I've heard of people going the antiviral/antifungal route first. I've
also heard of doing both antiviral/antifungal and chelation at the
same time. Mickie is getting both, because he is heavy metal toxic and
that is the reason is body is all out of wack.
Now days I am using EDTA suppositories, with no side effects or meltdowns.
