Hello there~
One of our SF Hep B Free Campaign Steering Committee members, the Asian
Liver Center, is hosting a booth at The Liver Meeting 2008 conference and
wants to have a presence street-side as well so they need a lot of
volunteers for this event. They will have a booth on Sat Nov 1 (5:30 -
8pm), Sun Nov 2 (9:30 am - 3pm), and Mon Nov 3 (9:30 am-3pm). More details
below.
If you haven't already heard about it, it's an international meeting of
liver specialists held this year in SF at the Moscone Center -

So
Subject: Upcoming Liver Meeting - Volunteers
Afternoon! For the upcoming Liver Meeting, we will have a booth on Sat Nov 1
(5:30 - 8pm), Sun Nov 2 (9:30 am - 3pm), and Mon Nov 3 (9:30 am-3pm).
We want to have street-side volunteers on the same days during the same time
wearing the Hero T-shirts for visibility who can direct people to the booth
and to hand out our promotional materials. I am thinking that we need 3-4
volunteers to man the booth and about 20 people streetside.
So if this sounds good I would like everyone to think about tapping into
their volunteer resources to get about 25 people/day to come.
One snag is that I will need to be at our kick-off APAVH (Global Initiative
meeting) Sunday morning - would someone else (Peter, Erin, Tamiko) be
ready/willing to head up the volunteer efforts'.man the booth that morning?
It needs to be someone intimately familiar with the campaign who can answer
questions at the booth.
Thanks!
