Subject: Stanford SUMMA Pre-Medical Conference Feb 3, 2007

Dear Pre-Medical Advisor,
My name is Chioma Agbo. I am a third year Stanford Medical Student. This
year I am one of the coordinators responsible for advertising the SUMMA
pre-medical conference at Stanford for undergraduates, highschool students
and pre-medical advisors to attend. The SUMMA conference is a pre-medical
conference that is entirely student run. Last year we had over 600
students participate. The SUMMA conference this year will be held on
Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Stanford School of Medicine.
To help advertise for the conference to undergraduate students at
universities and community colleges, we ask that pre-medical advisor to
please forward our attached flyer to their health-related student groups on
campus. We also would like to invite pre-medical advisors to attend
conference themselves to participate in the Pre-Medical Advisors Workshop
hosted by Stanford Center of Excellence.
We invite all students to attend the conference to learn about the
application process to medical school and other opportunities in health
careers. In addition we also hold a workshop which is exclusively for
pre-medical advisors.
For more information, please feel free to check out our Stanford website at
http://summa.stanford.edu/ Registration is only available online.
I have also attached a copy of our conference flyer.
Thank you for your help,
Chioma Agbo
