Dear Pre-health Students,

Volunteer acupuncturists, massage therapists, homeopaths, Chinese and Spanish language interpreters, therapeutic guided imagery specialists, western herbalists, and drivers needed to provide free complementary alternative treatments to Low Income Women who have Cancer at the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic.

The Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic is a state-licensed primary care holistic health clinic with locations in both Oakland and San Francisco that provides free complementary alternative medicine treatments to low-income women who have cancer. We have been providing these services free of charge for over 15 years.

In addition to alternative medicine we also offer social work services to support all aspects of our client’s lives.

Volunteers offer a minimum 4 hours per month.
