Health Education & Access Link (HEAL) is an alliance of dedicated and proactive students driven by a mission to make health care more accessible to all, especially the underserved. The specific purposes and objectives of HEAL are:
(a) To educate people of low income about health risks and preventive health care.
(b) To provide support for people of low income to apply for governmental and/or low cost medical insurance programs through recruitment and language translation.
(c) To inform people of low income about health care resources in their communities.
(d) To support other organizations committed to the improvement of health care of the underserved.
