I only had 1 bout of moderate cramps while I was on Depo. However, I would
bleed for 2 or 3 weeks at a time with only a few weeks between. My doctor
said this can happen, too - some women even bleed continuously for a year. I
switched to the pill, though, because I didn't want to wait a year to find
out if all the bleeding was worth it or not. I actually look forward to
having a regular period now....
