I get soreness in the area I get the shot everytime. I would usually be sore
for a day or two. My doctor has told me too that I a protected instantly and so
far no surprises. I am due for my next shot on 10/9 I am not going to get the
shot I am going to try that new patch that is out called Ortho Evra. I will
let everyone knows how that goes. I heard does not cause drastic weight gain
like depo. But do not get me wrong if I do not like the patch I will be right
back at my doctors office getting my shot. But you will be okay.....

I got my first shot today. She said I would not feel anything except
maybe a little soreness at the site of the injection. However---I
DID feel something. It was a strange (tolerable) pain, and odd
sensation for almost 30 minutes after I got the shot----I could feel
the pain moving---anyone else? Was it the medicine moving around?
Isn't it supposed to stay in one spot? LOL More questions--sorry!
They said I am protected against pregnancy the instant I receive the
shot. Hmmmmm......
eliz :-)
