Thank you for all the responses to my questions. :-)

I got my first shot today. She said I would not feel anything except
maybe a little soreness at the site of the injection. However---I
DID feel something. It was a strange (tolerable) pain, and odd
sensation for almost 30 minutes after I got the shot----I could feel
the pain moving---anyone else? Was it the medicine moving around?
Isn't it supposed to stay in one spot? LOL More questions--sorry!

They said I am protected against pregnancy the instant I receive the
shot. Hmmmmm......

I get soreness in the area I get the shot everytime. I would usually be sore for a day or two. My doctor has told me too that I a protected instantly and so...
