Helen-<br><br>I'm sure you'll be fine using the
DP as a birth control method. Just be sure that when
you go off it, that you give yourself time if you
want to become pregnant. It took about a year from the
date of my last shot for my menstrual cycle to return
and another few months before I started ovulating on
my own. As long as you know that it'll take time for
your natural fertility to return then you shouldn't
have a problem - I would've been very upset if I'd
wanted to become pregnant immediately after taking Depo
but then again, I wasn't told that was a probable
side effect. At least you have the advantage of
knowledge. Give your system time to clean itself out and you
more than likely won't have a
problem.<br><br>Honestly, I haven't found another good birth control. I've
heard positive things about the birth control patch (in
testing in USA) and am hopeful that'll be something I can
use. Would be much easier if my husband would just get
a vasectomy but I don't see that one happening any
time soon. Plus, I'm not 100% sure I'm done with my
family, though I think I am.<br><br>Shauna
