Hi there. I am a 21 year old, average health, with major problems
with the pill. I have been on three different pills (Alesse,
TriCyclen, and Marvelon) and they have not been able to regulate my
period-I usually have my period for three weeks out of the month (not
straight through, it's more likea few days break and then it starts
again. My doctor thinks it might be the estrogen in my pill and
recommends starting Deop if the trial I'm on right now (Demulen)
doesn't work. But I've heard horror stories about huge weight gain,
depression, acne when taking Deop and I'm wondering if switching is
worth it.

Does anyone have any relevant experience/advice? I'd really like to
do away with the never-ending period but I don't know if I'm willing
to trade-off for these awful side effects I've heard of.
