Hi Dash-
First of all, whatever you do, do not buy your human hair from the
Hair Shop on Wilshire. Their hair is shite and I've spent hundreds
of $$ there and consistently gotten garbage doghair no matter how
expensive it was. You're better off taking your chances at His &
Hers - at least the salespeople are knowledgeable and nice as opposed
to the ignorant bitches whose only purpose is to unload hair at the
Hair Shop.
Next. You really need to do some research as to the TYPE of
extensions you want - what you want to achieve. Length, fullness,
both, what? Stylish or natural looking? How much maintenance are
you willing to do? There are many methods out there.
Having said that, I'm surprised that there aren't more stylists out
there doing white girl-type extensions in town. Go to a black
community and you'll find more talented extension stylists than
you'll know what to do with. Meanwhile, you need to decide what it
is you want.
Hope this helps.
