Hi, my name is Stefani...weave expert for 12 years
Greatlengths actually do get their hair virgin from the temples....they are in
fact one the biggest buyers for the Indian temples...
Now what they do is take the hair to Italy where it is mass chemically dyed and
processed, so its not exactly virgin when you get it...it was when they received
it though....so if you want the virgin hair you have to stick with the natural
colors and take that home and dye it....or you can let greatlengths dye it
instead.....their process is not as harsh as the ordinary way manufac. do
it...and since they are dealing with Indian fine hair and not chinese....even
though they dye it....its still in great condition....you can dye, process and
do whatever to indian hair....it withstands a lot because of the cuticles still
being in tact......
i order 100% chemical, dye free hair from nature girl...!

Dear Members,
I have ordered lots of remy hair from the web and shops as well, but i could not
find one source which gives me a quality remy hair. I always have questions
regarding their remy hair. The definition of remy hair is that the hair strands
have not been processed with chemical and cuticles would still be on the hair
strands. It means that hair strands have never been washed in acid bath,
process which would clean the dirt and kill bacteria.
I understand that most of the Indian hair colors are either black and brown.
Indian hair do not have any bleached, blond or red color. So, how would
GreatLengths and others claimed to have varieties of hair colors without any
chemical being used? If they use the dying for the hair color, it means that
some cuticles have already been damaged.
Would anyone please answer this question for me?
Thanks

Hi, I appreciate all the information! It looks like we are all after the same
thing. I wanted to share my info with you all. I have light blonde hair,
and have been wearing extensions for almost 7 years. Before I was "educated" on
hair, I used to go to my local wig shop and purchase chinese hair, that was
processed to blonde. I finally found something that works for me. I order hair
from a person by the name of Ann Vargas. Her website should be up soon.
(annvargas.com)
The type I order is called Swedish Body, hand tied weft. Its not stick
straight like Chinese hair, but its to curly. Its just right, I can go either
way
with styling it. I get 18 inches, and although it may be pricey, (a few
hundred dollars) IT LASTS for a while, it doesn't mat, shed or look dull. The
main
thing is to use Biologe conditioner with it, and it will stay looking nice
for 2-3 months. I would like it to last longer, but this is better than what I
used to have to do with replacing it every 6 weeks.
If anyone wants her info to look into ordering this hair, please email me
Mmandi75@... I can get her info to you.
I have ordered many types of hair from her, her distributor has many textures
to chose from.
