Mikki your stykist gave you good advice. Stay with
her. Fusion can be very damaging to the hair and needs
to be maintained bi-weekly by your stylist. For those
looking for weave styles that doesn't require as much
professional maintenance do individual extensions
(braids that are tied) or the old tried and true sew
