I asked my stylist about fusion because I was interested as well. She said first
of all your hair needs to be strong and healthy. If you have split ends or your
hair is fried forget fusion because it will not look good. She also told me
fusion weaves tend to shed alot. Although fusion weaves give you more styling
options and is more free flowing, it is not as healthy for your hair. It is best
to just to do a sew-in weave. I have heard more horror stories than good about
fusion.

I want to try fusion on my hair, but I have a serious question. With
traditional weaves, hair texture is truly an issue when you want to
blend the hair. With fusion you usually bond to the ends of the hair
or close to the scalp. I would like to try this. My hair is a
natural texture, not too kinky, but very curly. It straightens, but
not silky straigt. What if I wanted yaky hair to be fused to my
hair. Would taking small pieces and doing it close to the scalp
camoflauge my texture for smooth blending or would this not work. I
ask because I see so many celebrities with what looks like fusion,
since it is free flowing, but the texture of their hair is not truly
theres but yet you can't tell where there natural hair is. There is
a way, but I don't know it. Also, has anyone experienced damage with
strand by strand. Also is it usually put on the root of the hair or
on the ends. Also does it shed alot, i heard it does.
