I do my own weaves as well. Since you are using a wet
in wavy I would leave out just the edges in the front
of the head then braid the hair horizontally to the
front of the head. From my experience this leaves a
natural look even if you do not have a perm in your
hair. When the wind blows people will not see any
tracks due to the edges not being braided. You can use
this technique with any type of curly or wavy hair
that has a coarse look to it.
