I understand that they do dread perms at Hairpolice in Minneapolis.

Who is the best person to get in contact with to get it done and if I

have questions. Anyone in the Twin City Area out there that can help.I

have been growing my hair out for over a year and it about 10 inches

long. Is that long enough and I also  bleached my hair over the summer

and wonder should I leave it or do it again before a dread perm. Its

been over six weeks since last done.Thanks all for any help.

I just got a dread perm from Satya at the Hair Police about 5 weeks

ago, I love my hair! just had a dread maintanence done where she

tightens and pulls together the new growth...I too live in the Twin

City Area...anyway, answers to your questions:  your hair is PLENTY

long enough!! Do not worry about that at all, they can do dread perms

on pretty short hair actually, just know that getting a dread perm

will bring your hair up a bit b/c it's the sections are teased and

permed. If you want your dreads and your current hair growth to be

bleached, I would definately bleach again before the dread perm, b/c

it's a lot easier to do it that way than later...if you have more

questions, just call Hair Police, ask for a consultation about a dread

perm with Satya, shes great! she'll answer everything and then you can

make an appointment from there.  My hair was getting to be toward the

middle of my back and it is also very thick, so I was there for 7

hours, but it was fun! After she sees your hair and estimates time

she'll give you a price quote...feel free to ask more questions, love
