I have to chime in - while I in no way am taking any responsibility from the
driver, I certainly think that the woman could have walked away. She could
have thought of her friends and family in the last few seconds and jumped out
of the way.


She also took one more dissenting voice from the world. While she certainly
made her point (we are debating this, after all, and her death will be
remembered), I can't help but wonder if she thought of her loved ones, or if
the homeowner survived.
