Hey Everyone,
While being online tonight before going to bed, I thought that it would be nice
to bring up a topic and post some pictures of someone famous who some of you in
this group might find very interesting! His name is Rick Rubin. He is a long
haired and long bearded guy who I think is well-worth looking at! I have told
some of the members about him before, but they weren't sure who he was! Well,
maybe after talking about him and posting some pictures of him, some of you
might remember who he is now especially if you take a large interest in the
music culture!
Rick Rubin is most well known for being the Co-Founder for Def Jam Records, and
has a played a significant part in bringing together the combination of hip hop
with the rock/alternative culture. He has helped start many bands of the past
such as Rage Against The Machine, and the most memorable video he has done
recently in my opinion was with hip hop artist Jay Z!

Hello, just sort of found my way here. I have been growing my beard
since Aug 1 of last year and is now as long as my hand is wide. If
there are any secrets you gentlemen have for preventing those lost
whiskers in the brush please share!

Eddie,
For those who don't know about the BCBB, would you post a link
directly to your pic there? There are 310 pics there. While I know the
site, I don't know which of those 310 pics belongs to you.

Hi Joe,
I realized e-mail attatchments werent permitted after I tried
it.For now it can be seen in gallery 34(current upload gallery) at beard
community bulletin board.
Eddie
No, it didn't come through. Someone didn't read the group's home page.
It says, "· Email attachments are not permitted" on the far right
side. You'll need to create a folder in the photo section and add your
pic there.

Mrclean, I would be more than happy to encourage you. How long is
your beard currently? What is your beard goal?

I hope each of your new years resolutions include ggrowing your
beards even longer.
My personal resolution for '05 is to help as many guys as possible
grow long beards this year. If you or anyone you know is interested
in growing their beards waist length or longer , feel free to contact
me.
Tom: have you ever done any beard mentoring? Have you ever encouraged
others to grow long beards? Happy new year, kai.

Tom, Thanks for your interest in the beard screenplay. Right now it's
in the reading process followed by another rewrite. Then I need to
find a producer and backers to pay for the film. Once all this has
happened then we will start casting. I will put notices out on the
internet and in actors trade magazines for those who wish to audition.
As of right now, I am slotted to play the older bearded male. We will
be looking for a young man in his early twenties (classicaly trained
actor) very hairy, who is willing to grow a long full beard for at
least one year.
I will keep everyone updated as things progress. Best beard wishes,
Kai

I think it's a great idea Kai.....I think a long-bearded man
mentoring another (maybe younger) man in the growing of his beard is
a hot topic on so many levels (erotic, emotional, sensual)....
now about the screenplay...can i be the boy being mentored? LOL....I

Happy Holidays all!

How so? Many groups don't allow attachments to keep you safe from
viruses.

Per the group's home page "Email attachments are not permitted". Yo
will need to upload your pic to the Photo section and then let us know
that you did.

Well, I haven't cut my beard in almost 3 years. It
seems to have settled on a lenght just above my nips
-- about 3 inches.

Raphael,
I know exactly what you are talking about. Mine will do the same
thing. Short of putting a relaxer on it, you might try using a hair
dryer and a brush. That may help. Or you can do what I do. Enjoy the
curling under until it becomes long enough to hang straight down.
