Re: [Growing Long Beards ] Why not a long beard?

Dear Gurkirpal:

Good for you! I am going through the same experience now. Except I can't sue a
school system. The principal where I work likes clean shaven men as teachers.
I'm thinking of shaving my head! That will give her a shock. At least I'd be
clean shaven. I have a passion for growing long beards. It is too bad I had to
trim it last week after a five inch growth. However, I decided to leave it
alone as long as I can.

I'm very clean and dress well. I think my five inch growth looked great. What
is wrong with people. Quote form principal. It gives the kids a poor outlook
on grooming and many of the parents may not trust you as their child's teacher
because of the length of the beard."

I may consider changing schools with a much more liberal principal. If I had
magic powers, I would zap my present female boss and give her the beard of
Moses!

If anyone else with a long beard has had this problem, write me back. Maybe
between all of the men in this club, one person could come up with a logical
solution. I do not like short cropped beards. They remind me of a person
playing a part in a movie when the beard has that drama and theatrical look.
Help!!!

Steve

It's my intention to have a long beard! However, work has been stepping on
that idea. I've had to settle for a "boxed beard"...dear Martin I'am

Steve, Why can't you sue the school system? The principal needs to be put in her place. If you are a teacher, please let it be a history teacher. Remind her...
