I, for one, am still here, although I just joined recently. I suppose we
shouldn't be too surprised that there's not much activity; I expect some
subjects lend themselves more to discussion, like politics (or even stamp
collecting). I was trying to think of something to write about, maybe a daily
diary of my beard's progress (thought bubble grows over my head):
Day 1 (1st post): Beard is three inches right now;
Day 2: No perceivable growth since yesterday;
Day 3: Used conditioner -- beard looks fuller and shinier!;
Day 4: Drats -- my infernal habit of chewing on and twiddling my beard has cost
me several prime hairs.
Well, maybe that would all get a little tedious.
Anyway, I do have a beard that's about 3 inches in length, and yes, I do have
those counterproductive habits. It was longer last summer, but I got the idea
last November that a short goatee would improve my appearance. That was a big
mistake, I hated it immediately. And it's amazing how much difference the hair
on the sides of your face makes in cold weather.
My best to you in regard to your vow, and to everyone else in the group.
Keep on growin',
Kefisos

When I hit the archives and saw nothing but "male enhancement" spam, I
got worried. Are there any of my fellow beardgrowers left here?
As for me, I'm currently under a Nazarite vow, which conveniently lets
me grow my beard out. It's only long enough to brush my shoulder when
I turn my head, as yet, but I'm hoping for a lot more. Good Lord
willing, I hope to get a beard down to my waist someday.
So, again... anyone here but me?
Yours worriedly,
The silence-dreading,
Wanderer
