At one job I had, I was a mentor. The mentors even had shirts with
the company log on the front left and MENTOR across the back. During
the new employees's orientation and training, they were turned over
to us us so that we could teach them the hands on approach as well
as the nuances that training couldn't teach.

Go for it. Mentoring is way cool. I'll be looking forward to your
movie.
