Peter, You don't mention in your message or in your profile how old
you are. When I was younger, mine needed filling in too.
When I was in Air Force Basic Training, they harrassed us about our
12 o'clock shadow and so I carried my razor around in my pocket and
dry shaved when ever I could feel the stubble starting to grow.
Shaving every day (lubricated in the morning and dry later on) really
got my beard to growing thick. Dry shaving takes some getting use to,
but I think it does the most for stimulation of thicker fuller beards.
Leave the goatee and side burns grow, but shave the rest every day
for a couple three months ... see if that helps.
Some people say that shaving stimulates growth and others say "not!"
My x-wife had a "peach fuzz" mustache and shaved it off. I warned her
not to but she wouldn't listen ... now she has to shave her mustache
every day. HAHAHA!
