Happy 2006 - Akemashite Omedetou gozaimasu. We hope you've all had a successful
dojo or club Bonenkai - year end celebrations & Shinenkai - to open the New Year
with a fresh new start.There are two things of primary note for the first
newsletter of Gojuryu.net and the Goju_Ryu yahoo groups for 2006.One - Please
remember that The Gojuryu.net Forums are up and running strong. As a matter of
interest, we now have more communications at The Gojuryu.net Forums than at the
Goju_Ryu Yahoo groups. This is because the threads and forums at The Gojuryu.net
Forums have better integration for searches, thread tracking and the database is
finally stable [not to mention 3x format backup]. The Gojuryu.net Forums is also
an easy place to monitor and keep subject matter separate and therefore
manageable.
Two - There are still copies of the only text ever written by Ei'ichi Miyazato
now translated into English and available in very limited quantities via the
All Gojuryu Network. This text by late Miyazato Sensei of the Jundokan is
historic as well as educational in value for an affordable price of $65.00 USD.

support the All Gojuryu Network are the absolute only form of income for the
site and the modest profit of the sales barely cover the cost of advanced
hosting services, URL management, domain registration and sometimes code

It's been approximately ten years [including this egroup in spring of 1996] that
the internet has brought us together and we've propagated Gojuryu Karatedo on a
mass basis to a world blind of demographics and crossing the lines of language,
culture and location. The times have officially changed and you should all be
