Combination Book & DVD Release: Okinawa-Den Gojuryu Karate-Do:
At a projected price of $40.00 and included the DVD ; The only publication
by Eiichi Miyazato Hanshi of the Jundokan. Available at the end of November and
at your door before Christmas [we hope] and meticiousely translated into
English, here at Gojuryu.net. We are unsure of the available quantities however
we do know this would make a GREAT Christmas gift for Sensei or that special
student.

As many of you probably know, Miyazato Eiichi Sensei was Miyagi Chojun Sensei's
senior student and the founder of The Jundokan in Okinawa following Miyagi
Sensei's death. He was also the head of Okinawa Goju-ryu world-wide until his
death in 1999.

Miyazato Sensei wrote only one book in his lifetime that is still highly in
demand. Unfortunately has long been out of print and was published only in
Japanese.

Glenn McIlvride, a 10-year resident student at the Jundokan in Okinawa is
fluent in Japanese and acts as a translator at the Jundokan. Mr. McIlvride has
been working hard for many months to complete an English translation for an
updated publication due out at the end of October. The new book will be
published with the original text faithfully translated and the historical photos
still present. It will also include updated pictures of current Jundokan
members.

Our new hosting service:
Notice: Monday, November 7th 2005, we assigned our hosting service to a new
server at iPowerWeb.com. Please watch for additional details. This comes from
direct assistance of our general membership [thanks everyone for visiting the
Google advertisers on the right hand side of the website], we have secured funds
of approximately $95.00 USD [we originally thought it would only cost $60.00
USD] for the first years service, to transfer the domain [Gojuryu.net]. Not much
money we know however a big jump from $12.00 annualy to $95.00 annualy. We are
still waiting to propogate our DNS and URL for the weekend of November 27th.

Our previous webhost simply wasn't doing the job for us [again - we want to
send a shout out to twelvedollarhosting.com; YOU SUCK]. We've spent far too much
time being down or looking for customer support of which we never did receive.
Now the greatest news of this section; we've arrangeed for 800Mb of storage
space and 40,000Mb or 40Gb of transfer bandwidth [as compared to 50Mb of storage
and 4,000Mb or 4Gb of transfer bandwidth from our previous host]. So yes, we
will basically increased our potential ten fold for approximately $95.00. Not
too shabby for a bunch of Karate people.

questions in a manner that is easy to read and understand. Leaps and bounds
ahead of our Goju_ryu eGroup at Yahoo. Let us know if you have any additional
sugguestions.

Free eMail @Gojuryu.net
We continue to strongly urge users to take advantage or the free eMail service

for spam or abuse. Abusive users are reported and deleted.

Page updates
Well this is the month that we officially change webservers [ipowerweb.com].
Thanks to a donation and by pulling a few strings we will multiply both our
bandwidth [a huge problem in the past] and our web space by ten fold! Not to
mention by doing so allows us to increase your services because we are currently
restricted to only 50Mb where-as we clearly need an average of 110 Mb.

Thanks again to all of you from all of us at Gojuryu.net.
