Just heard right now (courtesy of my good friend and mentor Kayo Ong
Sensei) that Shihan William Oliver had past away last week. He was 52
years old. Shihan Oliver died of a heart failure in his NYC Dojo while
staying over night on Friday and waiting to teach his Saturday children
class in the morning.
Shihan Oliver was one of the "best" and a "senior" student to Master
Tadashi Nakamura of The Sei Do Kai Karate for many decades. He is a
great leader and a tournament competitor and he will be missed in the
tournament circuits of NYC area. Our deepest condolences to Shihans
family and students.
