Hello My name is Paul Cunning. I am from Ontario Canada. I have been
training in Goju-ryu for thirteen years this momth. Up until five
years ago I did not realize that gojuryu was so diverse. We were not
taught about the other schools or encouraged to discover the history
or philosophy. One of the other black belts in our club opened his
own club and remedied this by getting in contact with other clubs and
learning about the other styles. We have also been training in the
tuite pressure point system with the Dillman Organization and the
Moneymaker Org. I myself have started building a small dojo on my
property with an outdoor dojo as well. I would like to receate the
training style of Miyagi Chojun. I have read alot of the translations
from Sanzinsoo(thank you by the way). My sensei and I have started an
Ontario Goju Council to bring together anyone who wants to learn more
by networking through/with this council. It is nonprofit so no fees
to scam from anyone. Thank you four inviting me to this group so I
xan learn more.
