Having problems with message search?
Dear Friends-
Thanks very much for sending out this request for prayers and thoughts for my husband and your
brother and friend Garry. Matt was able to see Capt. Mike Haber (his student and close friend) for
a few minutes last night while we awaited the results from the CT scans.) They did a scan on his
head neck and abdomen because of some tenderness in his kidneys. Of course they did a scan on
his head because of the nature of the wreck. He was released last night at about 10:30 last night.
The most important message I have is HE IS OKAY! He asked that I contact many people and if anyone
gets this that doesn't communicate with Matt, it is not his fault--I went through his address book and "Blind
Copied" most of his recipient list. I apologize if anyone has received this in error.
Here is the gist of what I know: Matt was extremely fatigued and he ran off of the road and down an
embankment at 65 mph + careening around and into pine trees. He flipped the car several times
and came to rest between some trees after a few hundred feet of hitting things down a 30' embankment.
He wanted me to tell everyone that he is glad to be alive and glad he has his family and friends. He says he will
write today. Don't expect much. He is pretty loopy. (When I told him I was going to write that, he said, "they
will never know the difference."
Thanks again Garry. (He wanted me to tell his "BROS" he would be in touch directly and individually.)

PS He just hollered for me to "PS" Duane Vogtman and tell him that the scans he did were great, and
the Dojo will be opened next week. (I say, "We'll see how he is...Lance may teach next week."
