RE: [glutenfreeinwny] Problems with a gluten free vitamin

Hi Jerry and Mike:

This is just a hunch but, not all allergic dermatitis reactions are a result of gluten sensitivity and I'm nearly certain that the vitamin E soft gel that you're concerned about is derived from soy.  Might it possibly be a soy intolerance/allergic reaction that is being witnessed here?  I myself can't tollerate soy at all so that's exactly what it sounds like to me.  Good luck and take care.

Mike,

I have contacted Walgreen and their whomever is in charge of their listing.  But can you or others suggest medical groups, gluten groups, and medical listing that would also want to know.  Especially to inform others to avoid this vitamin.

Jerry

Hi Jerry, If you are positive the issue was the vitamin i would contact Walgreen's corporate customer service.

Thanks
Mike

Mike Lodico,

I had gluten problems with a Walgreens vitamin, Finest Vitamin E Blend Vitamin 400 IU 100 soft gels, Item 510256.  It even caused the dermatitis. Would you suggest whom to contact other than contacting the manufacturer/ sales (Walgreen).

Thanks,
Jerry
