Excellent news! We have family in Lewiston, so it is good to know of another place to eat. I hope everyone checks out the Peach Festival there which is Sept. 5-7 this year. Watch the parade, ride some rides, buy some peaches, go to Brickyard for lunch and follow it up with cake-less peach shortcake (peaches and whipped cream) at the festival!

FYI......
I met the owner of the Brickyard Resturaunt in Lewiston. It has been there about 2 or 3 yrs. I met with the owner Eric and we spoke at length this week. He showed me all the ingreedients in his rub and sauce which are used on all the BBQ meats they make. Both the rub and sauce are GF. This means the meats on the menu are GF. The menu is on their website www.brickyardpub.com . They have great smoked turkey, ribs, pulled pork and chicken. There are numerous sides offered too that are GF including apple sauce, vegtables and mashed potatoes. Warnng......if you order the turkey dinner be sure to specify NO GRAVY also corn bread comes with all meals so say NO CORNBREAD as both the gravy and cornbread have flour in them.
Brickyard is on center street in Lewiston and is a nice country ride so do your self a favor and check it out. It has a big patio and plenty of indoor seating as well. It also is a bar and the bar area is sperate from the dining areas but also you may eat in the bar at a table if you would like. It is in an old historic building and is very cool. Casual attire.

PS- 2 sundays ago I went the the pancake place on NF blvd. The one with the GF pancakes. They tasted great but I felt like crap afterward. Not going back there again!!!
