I got in touch with Campbell's a few years ago, and their only soups that are GF are of the non-red label variety-- Chunky or Homestyle line, I think? Anyway, check those, or call them and they'll send you a list of GF items-- better yet, email them. Progesso has a way better selection of GF soups. If you're looking for a can of "cream of" soup, you are out of luck.
As for McDonalds, I am disappointed to see that they are taking the "no responsibility" standpoint of removing all inforation pertaining to gluten content on their website. They used to have a neat navigational tool where general allergens were listed and you could add and remove ingredients to see it the menu item contained gluten. It also appears that they changed their chicken recipe, because a few years ago, the grilled chicken came up as gluten-free. Now I see on their ingredient list that it has or may have from time to time, wheat. Bummer. Glad I haven't ordered the chicken in a while. I usually just get a bunless Big and Tasty with cheese, since it has real vegetables on it.
I hate to see companies that have been so gracious in providing gluten information take the route of "we can't tell you anything because we don't want to be responsible." Honestly, aside from the whole fry debaucle last year, has anyone been stupid enough to sue from ingesting gluten? Very irritating. I hate being treated like a liability.
Hope my info. helps.
Tetan

Subject: [glutenfreeinwny] Campbell SoupsI've heard that Campbell's has some gluten free soups, but everytime
I've tried looking while shopping I'm always let down and can never
find any that don't contain wheat flour. Does anyone know which soups
are suppose to be GF?
Thoes of you in touch with the McDondal's GF items,I was also
wondering other than fries what else is declared GF? I was looking at
the ingredients for the chicken in salads and it appears that they all
have wheat starch???
Any help would be great, Thanks- Natalie
