Subject: EUROTOX 2006 / 6 CTDC Congress

Dear Colleagues,

The success of the Congress in Tampere came from the strong support of all
the national societies and members that contributed to the large attendance
and the high quality of the scientific sessions. A large number of attendees
and the high quality of the sessions and this came from the strong support
of all the national societies and members.

For this reason I am writing to you again to recommend to reconfirm this
support.
Your input is required and we invite you join in with your proposal for the
Scientific Program for the 2006 Congress of Toxicolgy
(http://www.eurotox2006-6ctdc.org/) that will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia
on 21-24 September 2006. The Congress, as usual, will present poster and
oral presentations, symposia and workshops on sensible topics in toxicology.

While the scientific program committee is responsible for a final and
relevant syllabus, it is very important that all the Individuals, National
Societies of Toxicology and affiliated members give their contribution. Only
a common effort will guarantee quality and keep out Congress the main
reference for the toxicology updates worldwide.

We would like the Congress to reflect recommendations from all the EUROTOX
and IUTOX scientists interested in toxicology, so please provide your
suggestions on scientific topic, together with the recommended speakers, the
organizer(s) and a brief motivation for the proposal. Please submit you
proposal to Prof. Corrado L. Galli (corrado.galli@...) before December
31st, 2004

The deadline for one session on emerging issues will remain open for
proposals until December 31, 2005.

Young scientists are still one of our priorities; please consider this in
your proposal; The opportunity for young scientists to lecture in a
symposium or workshop is one of the keys to professional development and for
them to become more involved in the life of EUROTOX and IUTOX.

The EUROTOX 2006/6 CTDC Scientific Committee will draft the program in
February 2005; members of the committee are:


* Herman Autrup, President of EUROTOX

* Silvia Barros, Chair of the Developing Countries Committee

* Erik Dybing, Chair of the Scientific Programme Committee of CTDC5

* Ana Ferrer-Dufol, Scientific Programme Committee of EUROTOX

* Corrado L. Galli, Vice-Presidente elected and Chair of the
EUROTOX2006/CTDC6
Scientific Programme Committee;

* Jasna Kniewald,

* Robert Kroes, Chair of the Science Commission of IUTOX and EUROTOX 2007
(Amsterdam) organizer

* Danica Prpiæ-Majiæ, Chairman EUROTOX 2006

* Konrad Rydzynski, organisers EUROTOX 2005 (Krakow)
